Concerns about increased traffic and pedestrian and cyclist safety were raised repeatedly during our series of meetings and street parties.

Most expressed concern that accidents would be more likely to happen unless a considered approach to roading design was taken.

A working party dealing with the issue has been formed, and will be working on this aspect of the Structure Plan that will be submitted to council in June 2012.
